To locate less expensive drugs within the same therapeutic class as your medication click on the name of Therapeutic Class on the right side of the list to see all drugs in Tier 1 and Tier 2 for that particular therapeutic class.

The drugs within the same therapeutic class may provide you a choice of other medications that could be prescribed by your doctor to save you money.  Many of these are generic medications; however, by law a generic medication has to be the same strength as the name brand drug.
